If you do choose to cancel your appointment, please do so 48 hours prior. We advise you to sign up for our confirmation texts. Phone calls are also available by request. We currently do not have a full time receptionist, so the most efficient way for you to confirm is over text. If you aren’t signed up please alert your stylist and they can fix that for you in our system. We understand that things come up and life gets in the way, so we ask that you give us at least a 24 hour notice if you’re going to cancel. If this is your first offense, after 24 hours your stylist reserves the right to request you put down a deposit for your next appointment. If this is your second offense, your stylist may refuse to continue providing you services. If you choose to no-show your appointment without any contact, Shear Ambition reserves the right to refuse to continue providing you services. Our time is valuable and when clients no-show or cancel late we no longer have the ability to provide someone else with that time slot. Please respect your stylist. A 10% deposit will be required for any new guests, this deposit will be lost if you no-show or cancel last minute
Please arrive on time. If you will be any more than 5 minutes late, call the salon and alert us. We want to provide all clients with the appropriate amount of time for their desired services. Lateness interferes with our appointments for the rest of the day. If you are longer than 15 minutes late we reserve the right to shorten or even reschedule your services.
We love your children and will happily accommodate them during their scheduled services. If a child does not have an appointment, we ask that you don’t bring them to yours (if it is longer than 60 minutes.) We also understand that it’s not always possible to find child care. If you do need to bring your young children, we have many coloring books and crayons to entertain them! Please keep them nearby as we do have many hot tools and chemicals that can be a hazard to small children.
We want every client who walks out our doors to be extremely satisfied with their services. If there is any issue, please alert the salon within 1 week of your services. We will do our best to assist you if there are technical issues. If your request is one not discussed in our previous consultation this policy does not apply. An extra non-discussed service will result in an extra appointment and charge. We do not offer monetary refunds for any services.
